IIT Choice Explorer — all 23 IITs, every branch

Enter a rank, pick your category (OPEN · EWS · OBC-NCL · SC · ST) and seat type (Gender-Neutral or Female-only), and all 303 programmes across all 23 IITs (CSE through Architecture; B.Tech · BS · Dual-degree · B.Tech+MBA) are marked Safe / Likely / Reach / Out against the official JoSAA 2025 final-round closing ranks (All-India quota). Defaults to an EWS category rank of 506, but works for any category and any rank — OPEN closings reach ~20,800 and several reserved / female-only seats extend into the 25,000s, so high ranks find options too. For reserved categories the number compared is your category rank; for OPEN it is the CRL.

Fill-order preference list (top → bottom)

This is the exact order to enter JoSAA choices: dream / long-shots first, safe fallbacks last. JoSAA gives you the highest choice you qualify for, so longshots at the top cost nothing. Uncheck “Include dream picks” for a tighter, realistic-only list. Reorder by genuine preference before locking.

Data & sourcing: JoSAA 2025 final-round Opening & Closing Ranks (All-India quota), branch-level, for all 23 IITs · all 303 programmes · all 5 categories (OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST) × Gender-Neutral & Female-only. Pulled from a single source — the ExamMint mirror of the official JoSAA 2025 OR-CR (jee.exammint.in) — downloaded & parsed deterministically on 2 Jun 2026 (no hand-entry). The complete dataset (incl. opening ranks, 2024 cutoffs & PwD seats) is saved alongside this file as iit_josaa_cutoffs_full.json. Numbers are last year's cutoffs — 2026 ranks publish only after JoSAA Round 1 (≈ Jun 13). Always confirm on the official tool before locking: JoSAA OR-CR archive.
JoSAA 2026: choice filling is open now and locks Jun 11, 5 PM (mock allotments Jun 8 & 10). Dual-degree & B.Tech+MBA programmes are included; programmes with no seat in the selected category/seat-type (e.g. some ST Female-only) are hidden in that view.
